Meet our team
Tim has been in the insurance industry since 2004. His first role was working as an Area Manager with one of Australia’s largest general insurers. He has since held roles at a number of insurance Brokers before joining Reliance Partners and PSC as an authorised representative in 2014.
Tim then went on to establish BLC Insurance Group, making sure to provide superb attention to detail, empathy and willingness to search out the best value deal for every individual client.
The office at Mona Vale is well resourced to cater for all types of clients, no matter what their industry background. Tim and the team does the research to make sure every detail necessary is known to extract the most comprehensive and competitive deals from the market.
Tim has always enjoyed working with people, and he knows how important it is to communicate in a way that makes his clients feel at ease and confident in his ability to deliver. Tim’s client relationships are always built on trust and professionalism – providing quality insurance solutions for his clients is only part of the relationships he enjoys.
Alan’s unwavering experience in the Insurance Broking Industry spans over 58 years.
Having started with MLC Fire and General Insurance in the 1970s, Alan became a Partner in the General Insurance Brokerage, Hatton Lyne & Associates Pty Ltd.
During the 1980s, Alan and his team of 15 staff joined Brookvale Insurance Brokers with the sole purpose of providing the clients with second to none service and representation.
From 2010-2014 Alan was the head of InterRisk SME brokerage Chatswood and then joined the Reliance Partners Mona Vale team as a Director in late 2016.
Alan also has extensive experience in developing and running specific insurance schemes for a number of industry groups.
Since its establishment, Alan’s rich history in the industry has added a great level of expertise to the BLC Insurance Group team to assist their clients with the most suitable insurance product they need to protect their business assets.
Laura has worked in the insurance industry for over 22 years, beginning in 2002, working with a large global broking firm for the majority of her career.
Her experience spans across supporting clients of varied sizes from SME to Corporate. Her clients have operated in various industries including Education, Hospitality, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Not for profit and professional services, to name a few.
Laura’s passion is with General insurance, and she has a keen focus on supporting her clients in mitigating their risk and providing excellent customer service.
Tiffany has worked in the insurance industry since 2008, beginning as an Administration Assistant. After several years of working with Directors and Senior Account Managers, Tiffany is now an experienced Account Manager who has developed skills from negotiating premiums with Insurers to knowing what her client’s really need.
Tiffany enjoys engaging with her clients to develop a deeper, advice-based relationship that goes beyond being transactional, but always ensuring that her clients are provided with the most competitive premiums with the broadest covers available, along with identifying areas of risk within their business and providing appropriate risk strategies.
Throughout her career Tiffany has dealt with almost all classes of insurance and has a strong understanding of the SME client.
Outside of work Tiffany, enjoys following the Manly Sea Eagles, playing and running after her young son and spending time with family and friends.
Pauline has over 13 years’ experience in the insurance industry and has worked at a number of large Brokerage’s in Australia. Pauline’s attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile provide great value to the BLC office and their clients.
